This was our first visit to Yellow Billy and it didn’t disappoint. The menu is for sharing and is spectacular value for money. 3 courses which were all simply divine. If you’re vegan then probably not the best choice as options are very limited. Overall the 2 best main dishes were the sirloin steak and lamb. Desserts too had everyone covered. The service was a little slow, but didn’t detract from the experience. There’s also outside seating, but is weather dependent. Beautiful grounds too.
Had an amazing experience. The food was delicious, my husband had the pairing wine with the food which was a great addition. The staff were lovely, super friendly and explained everything.

I loved the fact that you can blend wine tasting with enjoying the food when you order matching wines. Loved the lamb but the veg curry would have been great with a little kick. I felt the curry was average. Otherwise, the food was absolutely delicious.

Perfect place for a long lunch in the Hunter. $200 a head with wine but food exceptionally well presented and very tasty.
Impeccable cuisine with generous portion sizes, attentive customer service and an extensive wine list made for an impressive dining experience at Yellow Billy. Recommended to me by a friend, it did not disappoint. A must visit when in the Hunter Valley!
Amazing lunch at this lovely venue. Every dish was beautifully presented. Good portion and they definitely didn't skimp on the flavour! Very friendly service too, which is always a big plus. We couldn't book the outdoor seating on the day of our visit (it was booked out by a big group), but we would definitely dine there on our next visit. The restaurant is also conveniently located adjacent to Piggs Peake winery!
Nice tasting plates to share, but not as interesting as when they first opened. Entrees were best. Dessert a bit rich. Maybe a new chef, although I was told they were trying something different
An exceptional dining experience at a fair value. The food was some of the best my wife and I have ever had and the wine pairings were all phenomenal. The octopus and fish croquettes as starters are not to be missed!
